Don't I look fabulous? This is the result of having a suspicious mole removed this morning. Apparently it was located right above an artery and because I take a bunch of aspirin on a near daily basis (for my tension headaches & migraines) I bled like crazy. The doctor then told me I could not go back to work. Oh gee, punish me why don't you?
So I am supposed to spend the rest of the afternoon sitting up, watching tv or reading a book, with my hand pressed against my head lest I start bleeding. Because apparently, that is not a good thing. If it should happen, I am to get myself to the ER right away. Doesn't that sound exciting?
Oh my gosh Liz! I hope that it heals fast for you.
ReplyDeleteSwift healing, Liz! I think you should go out and wander around in your slippers, you know, get as much sympathy as you can, maybe someone will buy you ice cream...um...maybe not....
ReplyDeleteOkay, I like the not having to return to work thing, but the holding your head lest it bleed too much is a bit scary.
ReplyDeleteAww sweetie. I'm so far behind! I feel lost. I didn't even know about this until I saw the "Still Alive" header on Jaiku! So sorry but very glad you had it done. Mustn't mess around with these sorts of things. So now they send it for a biopsy and when will you know results? I'm all for putting these things as far behind you as you can.
