Look! Look what I am growing. Basil! Why yes, this does excite me. The last time I grew anything from seed was in the 4th grade, when we planted beans in empty milk cartons at school. When they finally got big enough for us to take home I managed to drop it as I got off the school bus and it was ruined.
So I'm taking great pride in my little basil plants. Expect to see more photos as they continue to grow.
Cool! Just remember to keep pinching them back when they get bigger. I let mine go and got a 16 inch tall plant with 4 leaves total - not a good basil crop at all!
